Masai Mara Air Safari - Balloon safariYou trip begins when you get your wake up call at your tented camp inthe early hours of the morning for a hot cup of coffee or tea. Thenyou will be transferred to the point of your Balloon safari take off. At dawn we take off, rising as the sun rises and float in whicheverdirection the winds of the morning take us. Your pilot can preciselycontrol the altitude of your balloon: sometimes flying at treetopheight, sometimes lower, offering a unique perspective and greatphotographic opportunities of the wildlife below. At other times he will ascend to see the enormity and wonderfulpanorama of the Masai Mara. From time to time the pilot must put moreheat into the balloon with the powerful whisper burners. Day 3 – : Masai Mara-Serengeti Approx transit time to Serengeti 6hours.

DAY 4 – : Serengeti National Park.
Full day game drive in Serengeti. The park covers 12,944km2 of openplains making it one of the largest in the world. The rocky outcropscommonly known as Moru kopjes in the eastern part of the park are ofscenic beauty and occasionally cats can be seen lazing on them. DAY 5 – : Serengeti National Park - Ngorongoro Crater.
Breakfast at around 6A.M. Take Picnic Lunch with you and drive to the Ngorongoro Crater floor for the Game drive. View the various resident animals on the crater floor,the largest unbroken caldera in the world. Ngorongoro has an area of 260 kilometers and a depth of 610 meters.The crater provides a protected habitat for thousands of mammals and birds.The entire day is spent on the crater floor viewing lion, hyena,wildebeest, zebra, black rhinoceros, and many species of small antelopes.The Ngorongoro Crater Conservation Area is located between the Serengeti and Lake Manyara. It is home to the famous Ngorongoro Crater which is the largest unbroken caldera in the world. The Crater is a spectacular setting in which to experience your African safari.Some scientists maintain that before it erupted, Ngorongoro Crater -the largest intact caldera in the world - would have been higher than Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest point in Africa. Covering a mere 260square kilometers (100 square miles), the 600 meter (1969 foot)-deep Crater is home to a permanent population of more than 30 000 animals.It is one of the few places in Africa where you stand a very good chance of seeing the Big Five (lion, leopard, buffalo, rhino and elephant) in the course of a game- drive.The local Maasai have permission to graze their cattle on the Crater floor, and it is not unusual to see Maasai cattle and buffalo grazing together with lion mere meters away. DAY 6 – : Ngorongoro Crater-Manyara
Departure ngorongoro to Lake Manyara National Park for game viewingwith packed lunch boxes. Look out for monkeys, antelopes, zebras andhippos too. There are also lions and some have developed the unusualbehaviour of climbing trees for their afternoon snooze. However, theyhave not mastered the art of dragging their kill high into thebranches, as the leopard is so adept at doing.Birdlife is fascinating at Lake Manyara and numbers are at their peakduring the rainy season when seed-eaters, insect-eaters and waterbirdsthrive. Nomadic quelea (finch-like birds), gather in breeding flocksof many thousands and fly across Lake Manyara National Park in vasttwittering clouds. Day 2:Masai mara national reserve: Morning and afternoon game drives,Search for wild game black manned lion for which Mara is famous for, cheetah, buffalo, wildebeest, zebra, leopard, grants gazelle are quite common, even the rare rhino might come out of the thicket for you, hyenas are plentiful.
Extend your drive to the hippo point where schools of hippo submerge on the approach of vehicles only to surface seconds later to shot and gamble their displeasure as the crocodiles sun bathe on the river banks mouths agape.
Between meals there is optional visit to the maasai villages for an insight to their culture.
This game reserve is Kenya's finest wildlife sanctuary. Including migrants, well over 450 species of animals have been recorded here. Day 2; Tsavo West - Amboseli National Park Morning game drives then proceed to Amboseli National park we view game as we proceed towards the campsite for dinner and overnight. The waters from melted snow drain down the mountain under lava flows and surface on the Amboseli plains, creating a green belt of swampland amidst dusty plains.
